Weekend Glam!

So during the week I don't wear much makeup..

My weekends are usually booked with appointments in the mornings and events at night

This is one of my Weekend routines for the day that I keep on until the night. It lasts all day and I feel fresh without caking too much on but enough to keep me looking good enough for parties and especially pictures!

I wore a long peach/pink maxi dress (Macy's) with a black full sleeve crop top under (Express)

Gold scarf (Canada) , black lace under piece (Saudi Arabia) and black shades (Burberry)

I always prep with toner, and moisturizer with SPF

Scrub-A-Dub!

I just took a shower and snuggled in bed, and thought what can I post right now? 

Exactly what I just did! 

Tonight I am posting about shower essentials!

The very first thing I do when I prep for my shower is wash my face and brush my teeth.

I use:

• ULTRA-CALMING Makeup Removing Wipes ... - Aveeno If I have any makeup on
• Oral-B Pro Care 5000 Dual Handle Rechargeable ... - Costco  This toothbrush has changed my life. I take it wherever I travel, it has a cute case too.. and I always feel like I just got a deep cleaning at the dentist after.
• Sensodyne Extra Whitening Toothpaste - CVS.com toothpaste (for sensitive teeth because basically I'm sensitive from head to toe) 
• Frothy face wash - Origins I massage that into my skin, I love the way it smells
•  LUNA Mini - Foreo | Sephora The Holy Grail for skincare! I have been using this little guy for a month now and I don't think I'll be able to live without it. I never gravitated towards the Clarisonic items,
• Double Refining Exfoliator - NARS | Sephora I rub this in, and let it sit while I shampoo..
• Loreal Absolut Repair Lipidium Shampoo 8.45 oz  I scrub this only into my scalp using the cushions of my fingertips followed by the conditioner which I only put on my mid shaft and ends and I leave that on, take the NARS Exfoliator off and do my shower gel
• CHANEL COCO NOIR Foaming Shower Gel | NordstromMy current favorite for shower gel!

 I do either shower gel/body sugar scrub depends if I want to be squeeky clean or super oily. If it's prior to an event I use the shower gel, if it's for lounging around the house/running errands/bed then its my Body Sugar Scrub by The Body Shop- I never splurge on those, I always do the Buy 3 get 3 free! I do 1 body butter and 5 scrubs. They're great as gifts, I always give them to family members/friends. Also for the Absolut Repair, I love the mask and us it 1-2x a week. It's a professional-use product only and is used in salons. If you would like to buy it let me know, I can ship it to you :) It's super hydrating and repairs damage from chemically processed, hot tools, and even pollution/sun damage.

First Blog!

Hey everyone! I'm very excited to share my journey with you all, I have been wanting to blog for years. I started in the 10th grade on my first Macbook I received from my high school, and now I will start posting, aiming for about twice a week. I want to keep everything as simple as possible and be as informative as I can. So here we go!

Let me tell you a bit about myself before we go and get settled.

I was born and raised in Miami, FL. Still living here, and I live in the beautiful sub city of Miami called Sunny Isles, it's about a block away from the beach (الحمدلله) Lots of sun and beautiful palm trees! Traffic gets pretty crazy, but I won't be ungrateful for the great weather.

I am a hairstylist, makeup artist, and I do henna as well! I travel mostly for work, I don't necessarily like working at a salon. The routine of being at one place is not my style. I got detached from everyday life working at a salon for 8 months and it made me absolutely miserable. I like to change it up! Life should be exciting, you should do something different everyday!

 This past weekend I attended my Childhood friend's wedding. She looked absolutely Stunning!

I wore all black with gold tones, and did a very smokey black and gold eye with a peachy beige lip. I got to see some very old family friends, school friends, including the now famous "YAZTHESPAZ"

Yasemin is just as gorgeous inside as she is outside, mashAllah (May God protect her from the evil eye) her husband and her make the most adorable couple. Along with my friend Yusra that just got married, may Allah protect them, guide them on the right path and keep them happy always. Ameen!

 I used Nars Concealer in Custard and Loose Powder in Snow.
